The Center offers a wide range of services as well as volunteering
opportunities:
Counseling
Individual, couple, and family counseling are provided,
aimed at the client's needs and financial situation.
Senior Peer Counseling
This is counseling intended for clients over 62 years
of age, by other specially trained seniors. Volunteers
are also needed to be trained to provide this service.
Support Groups
A wide range of support groups are available.
Crisis Response Team
On-site crisis counseling by specially trained staff
and volunteers offering free services to individuals
impacted by traumatic events
or serious
loss.
Parenting Classes
Separate groups are available for parents of pre-school,
elementary, and high school students.
Mindful Parenting Program
Parenting guidance, parent-child therapy, Mindful
Parenting groups, child assessment and evaluation, and community seminars for
parents.
School Programs
A variety of programs are available in the Beverly Hills
Unified School District for students and their families
including the Annabelle Wasserstein Student Peer Counseling
Program.
Training Programs for
Interns
The Center operates an outstanding training program for a
variety of interns. This program includes regularly scheduled lectures on a variety of topics. Volunteering at TMCC
The Tutoring Program has openings for volunteers to
provide one-on-one assistance to children who need academic
tutoring. |
