Groups at TMCC


The Maple Counseling Center offers several therapy groups for a variety of ages and lifestyles.
Clients will need to schedule an appointment for an intake with the group co-facilitator(s) as part of the evaluative admission process.

Men and Women’s Interpersonal Therapy Group
Tuesdays, 6:20pm – 7:50pm

Adult men and women of various ages meet weekly to learn how we interact with each other and how others perceive us. A dynamic approach is used, encouraging interaction between group members.

Gay Men’s Interpersonal Therapy Group
Tuesdays, 6:15pm – 7:45pm

A group for gay men to explore a variety of issues including difficult feelings about self and others, self-sabotaging behavior, and the desire to enrich one’s personal and professional life.

Bereavement Group For the Loss of a Parent
Mondays, 6:15pm – 7:45pm

After the loss of a loved one additional support can be an important part of the grieving process. Share with others who have had similar losses in a safe, supportive environment.

Group Therapy for Women
Tuesdays, 6:15pm – 7:45pm

Many women can benefit from the unique process of group therapy, and it’s especially helpful if you’re wishing to improve the quality of your interpersonal relationships. This group provides a safe, confidential environment for women to explore complex feelings and get supportive feedback from other women.
