A Webinar to Help Parents and Students Manage their Anxieties and Fears As the New School Semester Begins

On Thursday, August 23, 2018, The Maple Counseling Center hosted a free, one-hour webinar to provide mechanisms for alertness, appropriate responses, and what parents and students can do to minimize anxiety and foster a safe community. Five panelists comprised of police, education and mental health experts offered their views and answered questions aimed at helping parents and students reduce their level of uncertainty as well as cope with potential school situations:
