Our Mission

The mission of The Maple Counseling Center (TMCC) is to provide low-cost comprehensive mental health services to individuals of all ages, couples, and families throughout Los Angeles County, and to provide training for graduate and postgraduate students who are working towards licensure in the mental health field.

Pride month may be coming to a close, but we cannot forget the challenges facing all within the LGBTQ+ community⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
throughout the entire year.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Policies at the federal level erode equal protection,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
violence is on the rise, workplace and housing discrimination continues, and access to healthcare has diminished.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While progress has been made, the struggle continues,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
creating undue stress and anxiety for many.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Maple Counseling Center supports our LGBTQ+ community, and we are here to help.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We provide individual counseling with LGBTQ+ affirmative counselors, and offer two therapy groups that specifically address concerns and issues of LGBTQ+ clients, regardless of ability to pay.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
