Welcome to the Maple Alumni Association home page.
We are a community of mental health professionals who share the privilege of having trained at one of the finest training sites in California, The Maple Counseling Center. The Alumni Association was formed to keep alive and further nurture the spirit of community that kept us going through the thousands of hours of training. The Association’s members include not only former associates and trainees but also the supervisors, both past and present, who shaped us into the therapists we are today.
Working in a private practice or another mental health setting can be lonely and isolating. Membership in the MAA provides mutual support, encouragement, and opportunities for both career growth and networking. For a tax-deductible annual fee of $65 your Maple Alumni Association membership provides you with a constellation of benefits that address your networking, social interaction, and continuing education needs.
Membership benefits include:
- Social gatherings and networking events
- Educational workshops
- Listing in the Maple Alumni Directory
- Supervisor-approved referrals
- Attendance to TMCC Monday lectures
- Discounted admission to TMCC fundraising events
Most importantly, your membership fee will support The Maple Alumni Association, whose mission is to expand the reach and scope of the Maple Counseling Center, a nonprofit agency that provides critically-needed mental health services to an underserved population. So please fill out the attached membership form, submit it with the annual fee and remain part of The Maple Counseling Center family.
